As the Utah Ski resorts are preparing for the 2011-2012 winter season, So am I.
I want a pass to a ski and snowboard resort this winter but the first thing one must do is decide what resort will be best for them.
The Canyons No Brainer College Unlimited Pass $399 if purchased prior to 10/15/2010
Pro: It's the best resort around so I've heard.
Con: Its in Park City, UT and that's 45 mins from house
Snowbird College Unlimited Pass Tram & Chairs $629 Chairs Only $499 if purchased prior to 09/15/2010
Pro: I'd be in Sandy and theres a chipotle there. It's a boarding place more than a ski place.
Con: Its Sandy/Snowbird, UT and thats 30 mins from my house.
Sundance College Unlimited Pass $399 if purchased prior to 11/15/2010 $499 if purchased after 11/15/2010
A night skiing/boarding only pass is also offered for $185 for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30pm - 9:00pm
Pro: Provo/Sundance, UT and that's 15 minutes from my house. Least expensive place around.
Con: It's not the best resort in Utah but its still good; better than anything I went to back east.
Theres also brighton and alta but theyre both pretty high priced and altas in salt lake and its more of a skii resort that a ski and board and brightons just as far as alta.
I have eveing classes Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights. I also am looking for the lowest cost I can find because of my financial situation-- a full time college student who works parttime making barely over minimum wage per hour. Also meaning I don't want to spend a lot of gas either.
Sundance Resort night ski and board pass looks like it is probably going to be what I choose because its in my college student budget (CHEAP) and it's the closest to my house so and I wont waste too much gas or time and yeah its just more practical I think.
