Little Star

I once had a dream that a little star fell on my window payne
I wondered why it was there and it asked me my name
And that was when everything changed.
That little star means the world to me
I wish I could carry it in my pocket everywhere I go
and if that little star only know its importance and abilities
It could change the world
instead it takes the hand of a little girl
even though these thousands of miles are like light years between us.
I wish that little star could understand
I wish I could speak to it again
I wish it could handle this real world we live in.
Oh little star I wish you knew how amazing you are
I wish you knew the greatness you could become
and that youre the only one
that can be like you
Little star I want you to stand tall
never ever let you self fall from where you sit
even though I'd love to have you visit
Little Star I wish you could see how bright you truly are
and I wish you could see that your brightness is far
beyond anything anyone can imagine
Dont ever hide yourself little star
even though the world is one big critic
you're the only star that upon i place wishes.
Little star dont forget who you are
dont get lost in the mayhem of the night sky
cause if you weren't there I'd probably cry.
I'd cry until I couldn't cry anymore and then I'd probably die.
Maybe not for real but my soul would.
You're one of the best things I've ever known
even though I didn't realize how much light
you have radiating in every beam you let off
until I realized how far
how far you were from me
so far, too far.
Sometimes its hard to bear.
I wish I could just float up into the sky and abide with you
at least one day and maybe that would make things alright
at least for a while.
I love you little star.
And I always will.
You're my friend.
You're my brother.
And there's nothing in this world or in the sky that can hurt the love I have for you.
And there's nothing that can destroy your brightness if you let it out for all to see and if you don't let others effect it, effect you.
You're really amazing.
And your potential is even greater than you know.
