Newsroom Mayhem

Last friday was the first day I had ever spent the afternoon in the newsroom. It was the first time I had ever been a witness of the mayhem that comes with meeting the deadline. I was able to help Lindsey (The editor of the culture section- that I currently write for and hopefully will eventually be able to obtain asst. editor position in) with some of her jobs as editor and get a since of what being an asst. editor might be like. It was crazy, but helpful. I know that I can totally handle it, I just have some work to do for now. :)
